# Emmy Arnold

1920 · Overview

Emmy Arnold co-founded the Bruderhof in 1920 with her husband Eberhard and her sister Else von Hollander. Their first community was at Sannerz in Germany.

The community sought to put Christian fellowship into daily practice after the First World War. The linked history follows the shared undertaking she helped begin.
