# Manitoba

1874 · Anabaptist history · Overview

Bergthal families arrived in Manitoba during 1874–1876. Their East Reserve church became known as Chortitzer. West Reserve settlement and church developments are connected with the Sommerfeld history.

Kleine Gemeinde also migrated to Manitoba during 1874–1875. The chart distinguishes these lines and follows later movements and conference names. This place page brings the related histories together while retaining their individual accounts.
