# Sannerz

1920 · Anabaptist history · Overview

Eberhard Arnold, Emmy Arnold, and Else von Hollander began the community in 1920. Their shared life became the starting point of the Bruderhof history.

The later account follows relocation, persecution, and fellowship with Hutterite communities. Sannerz connects the founders’ profiles with the community history and the wider story of common life.
