In another place there is quoted, from Reinerius,
this accusation against the Waldenses: “They also
censure many things in the (papal) sacraments, and
say that the baptism of infants is of no avail to
them.” B. Lydius, Tractaet van de Kerke, page 86,
col. 1.

Having, then, sufficiently proved, that the true
Waldenses were not only called Anabaptists, but
that they also actually rejected infant baptism, we
will proceed to other articles of their doctrine, which
they had in common with the present Baptists.[155](/en/stories/mm-footnotes/part-12/#Footnote_155)
