Albanus of Mentz
Albanus is a fifth-century teacher in Martyrs’ Mirror’s account of the spread of the gospel. He came to Mentz to preach Christ and was killed with others, the heading giving the year 424.
The brief account cites P. J. Twisck and places Albanus among the witnesses discussed after the book’s treatment of the edict of 413. It preserves a name, ministry, place, and date without supplying a fuller personal biography.
