Eugenia of Cordova

Eugenia is named in Martyrs’ Mirror among the Christians who suffered in the region of Cordova. The account describes her as a faithful Christian woman who was beheaded for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The heading supplies 923 and places her death near the city. Read with the surrounding tenth-century persecution account, this short narrative continues the Cordova history begun in the preceding century without supplying details the book does not give.
