Bruderhof
The Bruderhof began in Germany in 1920. Its communal history later connected with the Hutterite tradition and developed its own community story.
Eberhard and Emmy Arnold and Else von Hollander began the community at Sannerz. Its subsequent story includes persecution in Germany and relocation across national boundaries. Its institutional history records both periods of fellowship with Hutterites and its later independent community life. The connection appears as a historical association rather than a direct sixteenth-century founding.
