Felix Manz and the cost of conviction

Felix Manz was drowned in Zürich on 5 January 1527. His story is central to the memory of persecution among the Swiss Brethren.

Felix Manz was one of the early Zürich advocates of believers’ baptism. He was executed by drowning in the Limmat on 5 January 1527.
