Conservative Amish Mennonites: Rosedale Network

Ministers meeting at Pigeon, Michigan, formed the Conservative Amish Mennonite Conference in 1910; its history continues as Rosedale Network.

Ministers from Pigeon, Michigan, Belleville, Pennsylvania, and Hartville, Ohio, gathered in 1910 to support unity among Amish Mennonite congregations. They valued local congregational authority while seeking ways to work together.

The conference developed education, mission, and service work. Its historical name appears on the exhibit, while its present institutional history is published as Rosedale Network of Churches. This conference is one Amish Mennonite development; it does not encompass every fellowship described as conservative Mennonite.
