Mennonite traditions
Mennonite history includes Dutch, Swiss, German, and later worldwide communities. Shared roots coexist with differences in worship, practice, organization, and relationships.
The name later came to describe a wider family that included Swiss and South German congregations as well as Dutch histories. The photographed chart distinguishes these migration lines and their subsequent conferences. No present-day denomination represents the entire Mennonite family.
